Tiree Fitness

Island of Tiree is hosting its own 10k event this year.
Anybody up for this? I need something to train for.

This IS a race I want to do. I reckon I could even get a top 10 place, what a feeling that would be.
I have another friend who grew up on Tiree a a child and was overweight. He has a dream to actually win it just to see the faces of those that called him fat, and I wouldn't put it passed him as he's on good form just now.

Hmmm I wonder if my legs would be recovered enough after running the Edinburgh Marathon on May 23rd.

I'm actually injured at the moment, which is very frustrating not being able to run. I have a half marathon at Haweswater next Sunday which should answer a few questions for me. Please pray for me everyone (I'm serious) to be fully fit, as I train all year for these races, and live for those moments that I can pin a number to my chest and try and beat my personal best.

P.S: Go for it Paul, you will definitely get support in bucket loads from us all here, and if you keep training you'll be able to better your time next year too :blink1:
